Art for Advocacy & Just Trade Fair

Students coming together for positive change is something that has always kept us motivated and inspired. As a company we strive to make sure all of our apparel makes a statement, which is exactly what these events did. Arts for advocacy and Just Trade Fair were events held by The Social Justice League, and Free the Children (2 social change groups on campus.) The events were to create awareness and unity around issues regarding fair trade, global education, children's rights and other similar matters.
Lime Apparel was humbled to be a part of each of these events, and continue to work to create similar awareness and conversations, like these events did.

Change the World Through Art

The Design Process

Starting my own clothing company has been a real adventure to say the least. Each day I learn something new and invigorating about this industry and about business. I truly have become the idea of a “Student to the Game” But one valuable lesson I have learned that I keep close to myself is the idea of the “Design Process”. Much like the scientific process, the design version of it is repetitive and also technically is never ending. The process is shown below. I hold myself to this idea because I realize that it truly can be applied to all things in life to a minor degree. I will continue to use this system until the day I call it quits from Lime Apparel.

L.O.T.N.S

Busta Rhymes in his prime, cool seeing old school music at its time not caring about norms in the industry and doing something wild like this. Leaders

Speaking at Mashpee High School

Lime Apparel, after being an official company for just over a year had its first speaking engagement at Mashpee Highschool. Noah, Chirstina and newest edition Matt Healy traveled to Mashpee to talk to the kids of Mallory Callinan's Boys and Girls Club after school program. Being there was truly inspiring. After chillen with the Mashpee kids Mallory sent us this, "Hey, you guys were a huge hit with the kids here. They are STILL talking about LIME."

We are blessed and so grateful to have been a part of this program and know that we've left a small mark on the youth that we are so truly passionate about.

From this we can only continue to say, Follow your dreams. Youre the only one who can make them a reality.
